Our History

Located on the island of St Martin/St Maarten, FWI, in the heart of the village of Grand Case, in one of the oldest houses in the village, Le Tastevin Restaurant will charm you with the care that its owners have placed into each detail of the decoration as they have into the delicious cuisine. On the terrace overlooking the spectacular bay of Grand Case and the Caribbean sea, begin your evening with a great glass of wine or a tropical cocktail.

The dining area of the restaurant is decorated with colourful Caribbean charm, the tables are well spaced for your comfort and intimacy ; the cuisine is imaginative while blending the traditional french with the flavors of the islands, all mixed with attentive although discreet service and fabulous wine list.

Everyone here is like family, welcoming us and catering to us in a wonderful way, We are greeted as we approach the restaurant with warm welcomes and hugs. Sitting by the water is so relaxing as you hear the gentle waves splash on the beach. We try something different every visit and always satisfied. The Bouillabaisse des iles is awesome and like nothing I have ever had. Delicious, plentiful and unique. They present an excellent crème brulee to cap the night. Relax and enjoy.
